08.04.2013: We are happy to announce the next release of ChemSpot. This version comes with new components for tagging chemical formulae and resolving ambiguous chemical abbreviations. ChemSpot contributed to our 1st place in the DDI challenge 2013 Task 9.1.
01.04.2013. The WBI team ranked first in the "drug named entity recognition" task and second in the "drug-drug-interaction" task at this years DDI challenge, a workshop at SemEval 2013. Congratulations to Torsten Huber, Mariana Neves, Tim Rocktäschel, Philippe Thomas, and Michael Weidlich.
25.03.2013: The competition on Scalable String Similarity Search and Joins (S4) which we organized as EDBT workshop is finished; congratulations to the winning teams.
