18.07.2024: The Collaborative Research Center 1404 FONDA seeks a new scientific coordinator.
10.06.2024: Am Lehrstuhl ist eine Stelle für eine Projektassistenz im Sonderforschungsbereich FONDA zu besetzen (50% E8, bis 30.6.2028). Wir freuen uns über Ihre Bewerbung.
10.06.2024: The chair has two open positions for PhD students (app 4 years, 100% E13) in the course of the FONDA - one in the field of energy-aware workflow rewriting for Bioinformatics, and one in federated workflow systems for Earth Observation. We are happy to receive your application.
29.05.2024: The German Research Councal has approved funding for a second 4-year period of the Collaborative Research Center FONDA - Foundations of Workflow Systems for Large-Scale Scientific Data Analysis.
15.1.2024: We are delighted that Humboldt-Universität decided to fund a new Interdisciplinary Center on "Greencompute - saving energy in large-scale data analysis", led by Ulf Leser (Computer Science) and Claudia Draxl (Physics). We will soon open an E13 position for organizing the IC.
