PC-Pools

 

Overview

During lecture time the pc-pools will be open from 8:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and during semester break from 8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. (current opening times). Outside of the aforementioned opening times, 2 pc-pools (Music & Hardware) are accessible with an access card (key card).

 

PC-Pools

The pc-pools with their wide range of operating systems and applications are available to students and employees for teaching as well as for research. 4 pc-pools in total are equipped with whiteboards and 2 pc-pools with a projector. If needed a mobile projector may be borrowed from the IT Service Group. For select lectures, additional operating systems may be made available upon request. For example access may be limited to browser only to provide a suitable environment for online exams. A server handles the pc-pool-management (WoL, fileserver for images etc.).

The pc-pool "Berlin" provides 20 computer workstations. A permanently installed projector is also available.
