Welcome to the teaching and research area Human-Computer Interaction at the Department of Computer Science at the Humboldt University of Berlin!

Human-Computer Interaction deals with the interface between humans and computers - from their initial design to their application.

Current central questions in the field deal with artificial intelligence for assessing cognitive workload and emotions, physiological interaction, the development and analysis of adaptive intelligent user interfaces, and the evaluation of novel interaction technologies for virtual and augmented reality.
