Taihe Cao is pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning, Central China Normal University. He will study in the Humboldt University for the duration of one year as part of the joint-supervision Ph.D. student programme funded by China Scholarship Council (CSC). His research interests include computer-assisted instruction (CAI), self-regulated learning (SRL) and learning analytics (LA). He intends to devote himself to the following specific researches:
- Utilizing clickstream data to reveal learners' SRL process
- Recognizing the characteristics of learners' SRL strategies
- Supporting the effective implementation of learners' SRL
