Steven Purtzel
I am a Ph.D. student in the Database and Information Systems group, fortunate to be supervised by Prof. Dr. Matthias Weidlich.
My research interests lie broadly in:
- Event stream processing, e.g., {approximate, distributed} complex event processing.
- Probabilistic data structures, e.g., designing summaries and sketches.
- Row pattern recognition, e.g., optimizing the SQL MATCH_RECOGNIZE operator.
