Currently we have an advertisement for student employees at the research group under reference number 33-301-25

We are looking for motivated students to support us in research and teaching.

  • Employment begin from 1.06.2025
  • Worktime: 40 hrs/month for 2 years
  • Payment: 14,32 Euro/hr (collective agreement)

 

Your tasks:

  • Participation in the Software Engineering Group,

  • Literature research and aquisition,

  • Preparation and assistance in courses,

  • Creation of teaching materials,

  • Programming tasks,

  • Application of statististical methods in order to predict performance and reliability,

  • Statististical evaluation of data,

  • Implementing of simulation tools.

The requirements you need to fulfill: 

  • Studies of a closely related field,

  • Module final exam in SE,

  • Fine grasp of software engineering techniques,

  • Knowledge of common office programs,

  • very good knowledge of German and English,

  • Good programming knowledge in Python, Java or similar is required,

  • Good knowledge of testing is desirable.

Your advantage for your studies:

  • Aquiration of experience in applied software engineering techniques / mathematics in the research field of software systems,

  • Learning many programming languages and new tools,

  • The possibility to extend your work to a bachelor or master thesis.
